Conclusions

This activity engaged students to have a better performance in language skills, especifically in grammar on present perfect tense. 👍

Using tools such as smartphones, laptops, games and all the tasks involved in the blog allowed students to motivated and evaluate their knowledge about the topic.👌

The blog was one of the strategies to give students the opportunity to improve their scores as well as the level in the area for this term.👍

ICT should be used as a mean of interaction and communication to create a real learning community.
👌

Some unenexpected aspect were:😐

Internet access in the school and some student´s home💻
Reading activity was not solved by lack of time🕥
Time of class was very short. I had to ask another teacher´s hour to use for my class 🔔
The creation of an avatar was planned but it was not complete by lack of time. I have just two hours per week and there were some holidays.👎

Student´s opinions

In general the opinions were good. They did the tasks with interest and motivation because of the use of technology in the classroom. This aspect influences positively on the behaviour and the attitude of the students.

Co evaluating their classmates

it was a great experience to see how the students evaluate each other. Some of them, told me that it was thefirst time and they expressed how important is to be an evaluator.
This means to have a lot of responsability and value the partner´s job. 👍

Final task Writing

Today we solved the final task. By pairs the students presented their poster that included both pictures and sentences in present perfect about how their lives has changed in the last ten years.
They spoke about the topic making a huge effort in the pronunciation. But at the end of the day, it was great!!!👌

Solving the Activities

Two of the most interesting and motivated activities were ¨Exploring your knowledge¨ and ¨Speaking skill¨ because students were motivated and engaged with the tasks. They used their technological resources as well as their own knowledge to solved the tasks.
They support each other and they get motivated with the video with their voices.👍👍

Function of Present Perfect








El present perfect tense se utiliza para ¨señalar un vínculo entre el presente y el pasado. El tiempo en que transcurre la acción es anterior al presente pero inespecífico y, a menudo, recae un mayor interés sobre el resultado que sobre la propia acción¨ (Education First, s.f.).
Por esta razón es importante que comprendas:



  • La Conjugación del auxiliar HAVE –HAS.
  • Las Formas afirmativa, negativa y pregunta.
  • La Conjugación de verbos regulares e irregulares en su participio pasado.
  • La Práctica de las cuatro habilidades – four skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
